Vinnie Steels has spoken to Stockton Town’s media team following his arrival at the club.
The winger opens by exclaiming his decision behind signing for the club: “Joining Stockton was a no brainer for me. I feel like it’s the perfect place for me to express myself, and help the team build on what they have already achieved.”
He then goes into detail, describing his previous experiences with the current squad: “Already knowing Cam [Painter], Tommo [Stephen Thompson], Josh [Scott], Baggsy [Josh Baggs], Kingy [Lewis King] and Sweetie [Michael Sweet] made my decision to come here easy, as they are all top players and great lads too, which will help me hit the ground running come the start of the season, as well as looking forward to playing with the rest of the squad.”
The 23-year-old then describes his playstyle, for supporters who may not have seen him in action before: “Supporters can expect to see me being direct, hard working, running at players and creating chances for my team mates and chip in with goals myself.”
Vinnie closes by explaining his previous experiences at the MAP Group UK Stadium: “Having already played at the ground a few times previously, I’ve seen the effect that the fans have on the team, and it was a big factor in me joining the club, as it’s clear to see that they give everyone a massive boost.”
