Signed from Marske United in October 2022, Glen Butterworth came to Anchors following almost ten years with the Seasiders.
A combative midfielder with a good passing range, Butterworth was a key part of a Marske team that won the Northern League title twice and promotion on two occasions. Once to the Northern Premier League and then to the Northern Premier League Premier Division at the expense of Stockton Town.
Before his time at Marske, Butterworth previously had spells at Guisborough Town and Billingham.
