Stockton Town will be wanting to put last week’s disappointment quickly behind them with a tough trip to Ilkeston Town.
The Anchors looked comfortable at 2-0 up against FC United of Manchester after a brace from Josh Scott, but three late second half goals sent the travelling supporters home happy.
THE OPPOSITION
Ilkeston currently find themselves sat perfectly in midtable, 11 points away from playoffs and nine points above the drop zone in 11th place.
Harvey Kirby-Moore leads the way in the goals column for the Robins, he has nine goals to his name – with two of those coming in the reverse fixture of this game where Ian Deakin’s side won 4-0.
Similarly to the Anchors, Ilkeston have reached the final of their local county cup competition, where they will meet Glossop North End at Derby County’s Pride Park in April.
In their last league match, Ilkeston picked up a mega home win against league-leading Hebburn Town, winning 3-2 thanks to a brace from recent addition Daniel Odunaya and a goal from Robbie Fox.
Odunaya is one of many members of the Ilkeston squad that were with manager Ian Deakin at Long Eaton United, Odunaya however taking a different route to Ilkeston through the lower leagues, joining up with the likes of Thomas Marshall, Jamie Walker and Sam Parker, with the latter recently tallying his 100th appearance for the Robins.
