Stockton Town make one of their longest trips of the season as they’re set to visit Staffordshire’s Leek Town.

The Anchors come into the game off the back of another top win at Ashton United, where Michael Dunwell’s side had to dig deep to come from behind to win 2-1.

After the hosts took the lead into half-time, Stockton put on a relentless second-half display to claim all three points, helped by a brace from Kevin Hayes.

Hayes now sits third in the league’s scorers standings with 13 to his name, five behind league-leader Gary Martin.

Jake Petitjean is out after having emergency surgery. Ryan Barrett is also missing after an ankle injury saw him make way last weekend.

Owen Gallacher returns after his ban, Amar Purewal returns from injury and Vinnie Steels has been recalled from his loan at Bishop Auckland.

THE OPPOSITION

Leek are in the midst of their second season in the NPL Premier Division, after claiming the NPL West Division title in 2024, and currently find themselves in a respectable 13th place.

Former Crewe Alexandra youngster Connor Heath leads the way in terms of goals for the Blues. He has 10 to his name, placing him eighth in the scorers standings.

Ex York-City winger Alex Hurst is also a danger-man to watch, he has five goals and poses a constant threat on the left flank.

The club’s former assistant Josh Brehaut is now the man at the helm, taking over from Neil Baker in August 2024.

The two sides’ meeting at the F. Ball Community Stadium last year marked the first for both after their respective promotions.
