Jake Petitjean rejoins Stockton Town

Stockton Town Football Club can confirm the signing of midfielder Jake Petitjean ahead of the 2025/26 season.

Jake rejoins the club after seven years shared between Crook Town and Newton Aycliffe, and now comes back to where it all began at 25 years old.

Manager Michael Dunwell has expressed his delight on bringing Jake back to the club: “We’re very excited to have signed Jake, we tried to sign him last year but for one reason or another we couldn’t get it done but after last season he’s impressed even more and became one of the best players in that division.

“When we had Jake with us initially seven years ago, we knew he was going to be a good player, but he needed to go and play regularly. He went and did that, and has become a fantastic player as you can see from his goal record and performances over the last couple of years.

“He is a box-to-box midfielder with lots of energy, very fit, can score and create goals as he showed last year scoring 22 goals from midfield in the East division. He can also mix it up when needed and adds another dimension in both boxes with his aerial power.”
