Stockton Town head back to Greater Manchester after travelling to the area on Tuesday, just for their scheduled meeting with FC United of Manchester to be postponed upon arrival.
The Anchors have now played the least amount of games in the league, with seven league games remaining on top of the Durham Challenge Cup final.
This trip to Hyde marks the last of March, leaving a busy April schedule – with the FC United of Manchester game yet to be rearranged.
Michael Dunwell’s side currently fifth in the standings on 55 points, just 10 points behind league leading FC United of Manchester with a game in hand.
THE OPPOSITION
To say Hyde have struggled this season would be a fair assessment. Ex-Manchester United defender Michael Clegg’s side currently find themselves in the midst of a relegation battle in 20th place, three points away from safety.
Clegg is a former coach at Manchester United and Sunderland, and joined the Tigers in January of this year, being assisted by long-term captain Jack Redshaw. Since being appointed however, Clegg has picked up just one win, the only win Hyde have recorded since the beginning of November.
Strangely, that one win was an emphatic 5-0 victory over title-contenders Hednesford Town on Valentine’s Day.
In recent weeks, Hyde have seen the wrong side of results against fellow relegation contenders Morpeth Town and Workington, and will be desperate for a win to keep their NPL hopes alive.
The squad however is filled with talents. Winger Harry Bunn is a former Premier League man, having spent years with Huddersfield Town.
The before-mentioned club legend Jack Redshaw is a National League veteran, and has now made over 100 appearances for Hyde, and is their leading scorer this season with eight league goals.
The Tigers also bolstered their backline on Deadline Day by adding NPL-proven Reece Kendall, who had stints with Guiseley and Matlock Town in the past.
HEAD-TO-HEAD
The two sides have met three times in the league before, with a win, a draw and defeat for the Anchors.

PRE-MATCH QUOTES
Anchors’ assistant manager JD Briggs briefly touched on the current momentum following last week’s result against Warrington Town, stating:
“Our form is really good, and we have players back which is important. Kev has served his suspension, Jake Petitjean was really important for us today [against Warrington], and getting those extra bodies back, those extra quality players, makes a big difference”
