The winner of tomorrow’s FA Cup Third Qualifying Round Replay against Chester will face Scarborough Athletic away in the Fourth Qualifying Round.
The Anchors, who were making their debut in the Third Qualifying Round, were mere minutes away from an upset before Connell Rawlinson earned Chester a replay.
Stephen Thompson’s eye-catching goal had given Stockton the lead shortly before the hour mark.
Scarborough have beaten Dunston in a replay, and then beat Warrington Rylands 2-0 on Saturday to book their place in the Fourth Qualifying Round.
The tie is scheduled to be played on Saturday 12th October.
