Tony Johnson made a dramatic entrance to our 1 1 draw with Hebburn Town yesterday. Tony came off the bench to glance a header into the far corner of the net from Max Craggs free kick with his first touch of the ball, in fact he had only been on the pitch a matter of seconds.
Stockton couldn’t force a winner and had a Max Craggs goal inexplicably ruled out for offside as well as efforts from Sonni Coleman, Kev Hayes and Kallum Hannah all going close. The point was enough to see us retain top spot on goal difference from second placed Team Northumbria.
Next up for us is a trip to Blyth Town next Saturday. This will be a tough fixture given Blyths recent form.
