Synners no Match for Rampant Anchors

Vs Synners

The Anchors visited bottom club Billingham Synthonia in a boxing day derby and produced another assured performance to make it four wins in a row. Synners set up with plenty behind the ball and allowed Stockton lots of possession but it took 37mins to break the deadlock. OWENS heading home a lovely far post cross from Hayes and 5 minutes later Max Craggs near post corner was turned home with a nice glancing header again from OWENS. Synners showed a little more attacking intention in the second half but didn’t really create much. Substitute Adam NICHOLSON, continuing his comeback from injury, made it 3 on 79mins with a great far post leap and firm header from another Craggs corner. Kev Hayes mesmerised both full backs at times and did everything but score in an emphatic result for Stockton.
