Stockton Town sign goalkeeper Niall Frampton

Stockton Town are pleased to announce that Niall Frampton has signed. 

The 20-year-old started training with the Anchors at the end of last season and the club have secured his signature for the upcoming season.

Frampton started out at Sunderland RCA and played in the Northern League before a brief spell in Italy. Since his return to UK he has featured for Tweedmouth Rangers.

He has featured throughout Pre-Season and played his first 90 minutes in today’s Pre-Season Friendly against Guisborough Town.

On signing for the Anchors, Frampton said: “It feels really good to finally sign for Stockton town really enjoyed my time here so far. I would like to thank Michael Dunwell, JD Briggs and John Fielding for giving me the opportunity to train at the end of last season.”

“I love playing football any opportunity I get to play football and I take it with open arms

“I’m enjoying learning from Callum (Roberts) and Jason (Hamilton). Also can’t thank them enough for how welcoming they have been.”

Frampton continued: I am looking forward to seeing all the fans at the first game of season. I have seen and heard great things about the fan base at Stockton town and it’s not disappointed so far.”
