Here at Stockton Town we are all disappointed that we cannot come together and enjoy our football as we normally do, whether playing, supporting, volunteering or sponsoring. As we know, Covid is having a huge effect on everything we do and that effect is felt right through our community here in Stockton. So as a Club can we come together to help an organisation doing fantastic work in our community to help those who need some extra support.
Little Spouts are a local organisation centred in Stockton and Little Sprouts Health and Wellbeing response to Covid, has been to ensure the most vulnerable of our community have been able to have access to quality, nutritious food. Whether people have been shielding, isolating or have struggled financially, they have been able to keep them safe and fed, via their pop up food banks, food redistribution centre, food parcel deliveries and freshly cooked hot meals.
With Christmas approaching Little Sprouts have launched a Christmas Appeal and this is where we need to help. The aim is to provide goods that can go into providing Christmas Hampers and they have highlighted the following goods;
Stuffing Mix
Tinned Carrots & Peas
Cranberry Sauce
Christmas Pudding & Tins of Custard
Gravy Granules
Soup
Hot Chocolate
Boxes of Biscuits / Chocolates / Mince Pies
Deodorants / Toothpaste / Shampoo
Advent Calendars / Crackers
So here at the Club we will be open each day Monday to Friday between the hours of 10am to 3pm and we will have collection bins in our Main Reception area for drop off’s. The Club will organise everything from there if you can just get your donations to the Club.
Lets show what we can do and help this fantastic organisation to help our community.
