Stephen Thompson has been voted Stockton Town’s Player of the Month for August.
The midfield maestro, who scored the decisive penalty in the Play-Off win over Dunston, has been in sparkling form in the opening month of the season.
He has netted three goals in seven apperances which included an absolute blockbuster in a 2-0 win over Whitby Town.
‘Thommo’ won 37% of the vote ahead of Michael Sweet, Lewis King and Tom Coulthard.
