Stockton Town continued their Pre-Season preparations with a comfortable five-goal victory over Northern League newcomers Seaton Carew.
A hattrick from Josh Scott, a brace from Jaedon Faulkner and a trademark goal from Kev Hayes secured Pre-Season win number two.
It was a meeting between old foes, the Anchors had met Seaton Carew on multiple occasions during their time in the Wearside League.
Nathan Harker made his return in goal, while Scott was given the start up front.
The early exchanges saw Seaton Crew have a lot of the ball, but it was Stockton who had the game’s first chance when Scott played in Stephen Thompson but he was denied by the foot of the goalkeeper.
On a rare foray forward, Seaton broke in numbers but Liam Wright’s strike was comfortable for the returning Harker.
The Anchors were forced into an early change when Layton Watts came off and he was replaced by Jaedon Faulkner
Stockton opened the scoring shortly after the quarter hour mark when a sweeping move ended in Thompson finding substitute Faulkner who turned it home.
The Anchors doubled their advantage when Thompson won the ball back in a dangerous position, he found Gallacher who passed it onto Scott who showed great composure to convert.
A third came before half-time when Faulkner cruised into the box and coolly dispatched past the goalkeeper to complete his brace before half-time.

Seaton came close to getting an early second half goal when a deep cross from the right wing clipped the crossbar.
Stockton added a fourth when excellent tenacity from Faulkner saw him hustle for the ball in the penalty area to set up Scott for a simple finish.
Scott came inches from completing his hattrick when a teasing ball from Faulkner narrowly missed his outstretched boot.
Seaton Carew scored a consolation when a strike was arrowed into the top corner from close range.
Stockton nearly scored when two youngsters Jayden Pinnegar and Callum Young combined with the latter striking wide.
The Anchors had their fifth when Pinnegar found Kev Hayes who cut inside and fired into the bottom right corner.
Seaton were hit for six when a cheap giveaway saw them hand the ball straight to Scott who finished to complete his hattrick.
