After spending several years in the Academy at Middlesbrough FC Joe joined Stockton Town juniors at 14 and was part of a successful squad impressing enough to get a couple of games for the 1st team in the Wearside League at just 17 and was thought to be destined for great things while at the club. Joe left at 18 to join Billingham Synthonia where he became a regular. However, he received an offer to study and play in the USA and he’s spent the last 3 years at Carson Newman Uni in Tennessee on a sports science course while representing their Soccer team. Now back and working in the UK, Joe has rejoined the Anchors, Joe is a good all round midfielder who can fit several roles, a good passer and very fit he will provide even more competition for places in that area.
