Sonni is a product of Stockton’s junior system and was a prolific goalscorer at Youth level with the high point being a starring role for England Schoolboys U18’s in a Home Nations Tournament in Northern Ireland. Sonni joined the 1st team squad in 2015/16 season but an ankle problem restricted his appearances. Tall and quick with a good touch he scores all types of goals and is a clinical finisher. Sonni played an important part in the run to the ENL 2nd Division title in 2017 scoring some crucial goals, but more importantly working hard and showing regular improvement and is a valued member of the First Team Squad now.
