Stockton Town are delighted to announce the signing of Goalkeeper Nathan Harker following his release from Marske United.
Harker, 25, started his career at Newcastle United and was named on the first-team bench for FA Cup tie at Blackburn Rovers in 2019. Following his release he had brief stint at Scarborough Athletic.
He later had a spell in the Northern League at Bedlington Terriers and Whickham. Last season he joined Marske United where he began this season as the number one.
Commenting on the signing, Manager Michael Dunwell said: “I am very pleased to sign Nathan he will give real competition for the No.1 shirt. He comes with good pedigree and many clubs wanted him after he left Marske United but fortunately he decided to sign for us.
“He will be a big assett for us.”
Nathan will go straight into the squad for tomorrow’s game against Liversedge at the MAP Group UK Stadium.
