Stockton Town fell to defeat in their latest Pre-Season outing at Horden CW.
The game was originally scheduled to be played Friday but was moved to Tuesday after the Anchors were unable to field a side.
Michael Dunwell named youngsters Harvey Carberry and Jayden Pinnegar in the Starting XI and there was a place on the bench for Josh Baggs and Michael Sweet to make their return.
Horden were playing their last Pre-Season game before they kick-off their season off against Crook Town on Saturday.
Jake Petitjean had Stockton’s first chance with a turn and shot which was comfortable for the goalkeeper, and later Lewis King struck the post with a long range strike.
The Marras took the lead on the half hour when neat work on the right saw the ball cut back into the box and it was finished emphatically.
Stockton tried to respond but Frank Nouble’s ranger was kept out by a fine save from the Horden goalkeeper.
The home side had a second from a corner when Stockton failed to clear and it was struck in off the post by a Horden defender.
The Anchors pulled a goal back on the stroke of half time when Adam Nicholson headed in a corner from inside the six-yard box.

Michael Sweet came out for his first Pre-Season outing and was put out on the right. He produced some promising moments including a low ball across which was narrowly put wide by Josh Scott.
There was also a return to the pitch for Josh Baggs who came back after almost a year on the sidelines with injury.
Despite Stockton showing the better of the second, Horden added a third when Harker saved an initial effort but the rebound was tucked home.
Stockton had some half chances to get another goal in the contest. The best came when Scott beat the goalkeeper to the ball but his effort was deflected wide by a defender.
