Stockton Town head to Warrington Rylands for their final game of the regular season knowing a win will secure the final Play-Off spot.
The Anchors came from behind on Tuesday night at FC United of Manchester to earn a valuable point which keeps them in the final Play-Off position heading into tomorrow’s game.
Jordan Buckley gave the home side the lead early on before Tom Coulthard found an equaliser. Stockton finished the game the stronger but were unable to produce a winner.
Michael Dunwell will be without Michael Sweet for the trip to Rylands. Sweet missed Tuesday’s game after injuring his medial ligament.
THE OPPOSITION
Warrington Rylands already know their Play-Off fate after securing 4th spot and a trip to FC United of Manchester on Tuesday night.
It has been an impressive first full season in charge for manager Neil Reynolds. The former FC United boss was appointed in September last season after a difficult start to the campaign saw Rylands in the relegation zone. He managed to steer them to a comfortable 11th-place before going to secure their second Play-Off berth since promotion in 2022.
With nothing on the line for Rylands it will be interesting to see what sort of a side Reynolds fields. They have not had a fixture since their Liverpool Senior Cup Semi-Final at Everton U21s eleven days ago.
Stand out players throughout the season have been Ben Hardcastle who has an impressive 14 goals from midfield- he missed the reverse fixture. There’s also Jake Burton who boasts EFL experience at Tranmere. Alex Kiwomya, son of Andy, brings the electric pace.

PRE-MATCH QUOTES
Looking ahead to the game, Michael Dunwell said:
“I think we have just got to focus on ourselves. We don’t know how Rylands will approach the game so just need to focus on ourselves and go to win the game. That’s all we will be thinking about.
“We have to put in a performance but mostly importantly we have to win the game to get in the Play-Offs.”
