Stockton Town’s Pre-Season preparations continue as they welcome Teesside rivals Guisborough Town to the MAP Group UK Stadium. 

The Anchors have played three Pre-Season games so far with the most recent an entertaining 4-3 defeat to Morpeth Town last Saturday. They more than matched their higher-level opponents but the Highwaymen proved decisive in the final third.

Prior to that, they lost 3-1 to Boro Rangers and drew 1-1 with Scarborough Athletic.

THE OPPOSITION

Guisborough Town have played five Pre-Season friendlies so far. The biggest result saw them defeat North Riding outfit Kader FC 7-1.

They have also lost out to Marske United in the John Butterfield Memorial Trophy and 2-0 at Thornaby in the Peter Morris Memorial Cup.

Players to watch for the Priorymen include last season’s top scorer Cole Kiernan, winger Jack Blackford and ex-Stockton forward Tyrone O’Neill.
