Stockton Town begin their penultimate month of the regular season with the visit of Basford United.
The Anchors come fresh off back-to-back away wins at Ilkeston Town and Matlock Town which has placed them in the league’s final Play-Off spot.
February’s Player of the Month Michael Sweet proved crucial last time out with a brace which steered the Anchors past Matlock Town with a 3-2 win.
Tomorrow will see the return of Captain Adam Nicholson to the squad. There’s also a return to the squad for U18 player Jaedon Faulkner who has once again impressed in training.
Michael Fowler will be missing after picking up a calf strain in the week. Mikey Roberts is a doubt after tweaking his back in training.
THE OPPOSITION
Basford United are currently embroiled in a relegation battle where they lie in 20th and are four points off safety.
Since the two clubs met in November, Basford have had two changes in management. Following the resignation of Martin Carruthers, Luke Potter was appointed but he spent less than a month in charge before his dismissal.
At the end of January, the club replaced him with Willis Franics who represented the club as a player between 2012 and 2015. He has been joined by experienced coach John Ramshaw.
Since taking the reins, the pair have suffered just one defeat from their first five games and have secured huge home victories over Blyth Spartans and Matlock Town in addition to a place in the Nottinghamshire Senior Cup Semi-Finals.
Last time out they earned a creditable 1-1 home draw against an in-form Warrington Rylands as Jamie Williamson cancelled out Jake Burton’s first half opener.

PRE-MATCH QUOTES
Looking ahead to the game, Michael Dunwell said:
“We are looking to continue our good form which has seen us creep into the Play-Offs.
“Basford will be a difficult challenge as they are fighting to stay in the league and every game at this stage of the season in this league especially has huge importance with the league being so tight at both ends of the table.
“We are full of confidence at the minute and have trained really well this week. The players are really looking forward to Saturday.”
