Stockton Town return home to face Ashington for the third time this season.Â
The Anchors secured back-to-back wins over Cleethorpes Town and North Ferriby courtesy of late goals in both.
Those two wins mean they are six points clear at the top of the Northern Premier League East Division with a game in hand on second-placed Belper Town.
Last Saturday’s win did see Lewis King go off injured with a rolled ankle. Although in positive news Dan McWilliams is fit and ready to return to the squad.

THE OPPOSITION
Ashington have produced a decent showing in their return to the NPL and are currently 12th with 34 points from 26 games.
They have beaten some of the top sides with a 4-0 win over Hebburn Town followed by a 1-0 win over Belper Town being two eye-catching results.
Last time out they were beaten 2-1 by Cleethorpes Town. Harrison Poulter’s goal in the final ten minutes proved to be the difference.
Connor Thomson is the man to watch for Ashington. The Morpeth Town loanee has been excellent for the Colliers with 15 goals thus far.
Former Middlesbrough striker Wilson Kneeshaw has also been among the goals with 12 for the season.
