Stockton Town return to the road as they make their debut trip to Long Eaton.

The Anchors come into the game on the back of a tough defeat to Pontefract Collieries last Saturday. They had controlled the first half and led 2-0 at the break thanks to goals from Matty Tymon and Kevin Hayes.

The second half saw Pontefract come back through goals from Jack Vann, Gavin Rothery from the penalty spot and Jack Shepherd.

The game ended on a sour note for the Anchors when they reduced to ten men after Dale Mulligan was red carded for a high challenge.

Middlesbrough loanee Henry Popple was a positive aspect as he earned the ‘Zen Auto Supporter’s Player of the Match’ award on his debut between the sticks.
