Stockton Town continue their Pre-Season preparations with a trip to Northern League outfit Crook Town.
The Anchors kicked off their Pre-Season campaign last Saturday with a 2-0 win at Consett. Second half goals from Jack Spears and a Trialist handed Stockton a deserved victory in a game they controlled.
The game saw new signing Lewis Leech start the game, while Arjun Purewal and Owen Gallacher both played the second half.
Stockton missed out on midweek Pre-Season action as their arranged game against Redcar Athletic was called off due to England’s Euro Semi-Final.
The Under-18s begin their Pre-Season campaign tomorrow when they Spennymoor Town U17 at the MAP Group UK Stadium- 11.30am Kick-Off.
THE OPPOSITION
Crook Town are preparing for another season in the Northern League Division One under the stewardship of Mattie Thompson.
The Black and Ambers finished last season in 13th but have made a number of signings to improve on that. Notable ones include former Anchors striker Sonni Coleman, Ex-Halifax Town midfielder Josh MacDonald and Corey Nicholson from West Auckland.
They have played two Pre-Season games so far and have lost them both. A 1-0 defeat followed by a 3-2 loss at Consett.
Stockton Town last visited Crook Town in September 2016 during their debut season in the Northern League and emerged as 3-1 winners.
