Stockton Town are back on the road to West Yorkshire to cap off November.Â
The Anchors went to the summit last Saturday with a 7-1 drubbing of high-flying Belper Town. Kev Hayes scored a hattrick and Mikey Roberts netted brace. The other goals were scored by Michael Fowler who made it three in three and Stephen Thompson who got his first of the season.
They were supposed to play at Carlton Town but once again the game victim to the weather. Although Stockton still remain top as Belper were unable to take advantage as they lost 4-3 at home to Newton Aycliffe.
The Anchors will still be without Michael Sweet and Elliott Beddow who are both a week away. Jack Spears comes into the squad from the Under-18s after impressing in training.
Should Mikey Roberts feature it will be his 200th appearance for Stockton Town.

THE OPPOSITION
Brighouse Town are currently 13th with 17 points from their opening 15 games of the season. They are without a win in six games.
Although drew 1-1 with Ossett United in midweek. Brandon Webster scored a late equaliser to salvage the point. In addition to that point they have also held Cleethorpes Town and Pontefract Collieries to draws.
Mohammed Qasim, goalscorer the last time the two sides, still remains a threat for opposition defences. He has 15 goals to start this campaign.

Looking ahead to the game, Brighouse Town manager Vill Powell said:
“They’ll be buzzing with confidence. It will be a tough game against Stockton it always is.
“They are a good side. They are a side that will be challenging for the title and we will need to be as resilient as we were tonight (1-1 draw at Ossett United). ”

Focusing on the task at hand, Manager Michael Dunwell said:
“Brighouse is another tough place to go and a similar game to when we played Sheffield.
“They will be hard to break down and surface will not help with how we play so may need to change that.
“We need to build on this good run we are on, players trained exceptionally this week and there’s a real feel good factor around the place. Hopefully this continues this week.”
