Stockton Town travel to the East Coast for their first away game of 2024.

The Anchors made a winning start to 2024 with a 3-0 victory over Ossett United last Saturday. That stretched their winning run to nine games.

Kev Hayes scored a brace as he hit 19 goals in all competitions for the season. Tom Coulthard scored the third to add gloss to the win.

Stockton could welcome back Tom Portas, the midfielder has been out of action since September.

THE OPPOSITION

Bridlington Town are under the management of Adrian Costello who is currently in his first full season in charge after guiding them to safety last season.

It has been a better campaign this time round and they are currently 11th- six points from the Play-Offs but crucially ten points clear of the relegation zone.

Last time out they took the lead at Liversedge before going on to lose 4-2.

Throughout the season they have enjoyed some impressed home victories including a 4-0 win over Stocksbridge Park Steels and a 3-0 win over Consett.

Ali Aydemir and Lewis Dennison are among the ones to look out for. The pair have six goals each thus far.

WHAT THE OPPOSITION ARE SAYING

Speaking ahead of the game, Adrian Costello said:

“It will be a good game. They are a good side but the last time we played them on the 3g it was 1-0 with minutes to go and their second was in the 92nd minute because we were pushing for the equaliser.

“On our day we can beat Stockton we just need to believe it.”
