Stockton Town head to the red-hot Bamber Bridge to look to keep hold of their place in the playoffs.
The Anchors come into the game off the back of a strong win against Cleethorpes Town last week, where Kevin Hayes’ late goal secured all three points for the Anchors.
Jake Petitjean nodded Michael Dunwell’s side in front, but Liam Hughes levelled the scores with 10 minutes remaining – and looked to have earned the Owls a point until Hayes broke the travelling hearts with his 10th league goal of the season.
Results in midweek pushed Stockton down to 5th, with Bamber Bridge now right on their tails with their four-game winning run.
THE OPPOSITION
Brig come into this game on a stellar run of form, losing just once since mid-December, picking up solid wins against the likes of Lancaster City, Warrington Rylands and Warrington Town.
In the midst of their ongoing four-game winning run, Jamie Milligan’s side haven’t even conceded a goal.
Towering talisman Ewan Bange is the threat in front of goal, with 14 goals already to his name this season, trailing just Hebburn’s Gary Martin in the scorers standings. Bange, at just 24 years old, is in his third stint with the club, having had loan spells for Milligan whilst at Blackpool and Radcliffe.
Bamber Bridge also boasts the talents of veteran forward Jamie Allen, who notably featured on the ITV reality show Love Island back in 2022. Allen also represents his country at international level, currently having 15 caps for Monserrat.

The two sides have met three times in the league before, with the Anchors having a successful meeting at Irongate last season:

PRE-MATCH QUOTES
Following last week’s victory over Cleethorpes Town, Manager Michael Dunwell looked ahead to the clash by saying:
“They’re just behind us. They’re on an unbelievable run of form. I’ve said it all the time but there’s really no easy games, every team can beat each other and there’s not a lot between all of the teams.”
