We moved close to ensuring promotion to Division 1 of the EBAC Northern League with victory at Blyth Town last night. We now need 2 points from our remaining 3 league fixtures to be sure, so a victory in our home tie with Alnwick Town this Saturday 8th April would be enough.
Max Craggs fired us in front on 8 minutes before we were pegged back by an outstanding Blyth goal just before half time.

The second half saw a great game of football develop and it took a fantastic team goal finished by that man Max Craggs again to regain the lead.

Then in injury time Tony Johnson ran from his own half to clinch victory when he calmly beat the keeper for Stockton’s third.
