Stockton Town Football Club are excited to welcome midfielder Layton Watts to the Club as our first summer addition.
Layton joins the Anchors from Whitby Town, where he’s spent the last two seasons.
The 25-year-old will add speed and creativity to the Anchors’ midfield, with the ability to play on the wing also a strong factor to his game.
Speaking on Layton’s arrival, Michael Dunwell has stated: “It’s really exciting because we did try to sign him before the transfer deadline last season, and he’s always been an exciting player, makes positive runs forward, creates goals and scores some himself so he’s the player we’re looking for.
“He’s got great work rate, and he’s a good lad too – he’ll be great in the dressing room, and when he become available, he knew we wanted him and he wanted to come here, no doubt that he’ll be a great signing for us.”
