James Risbrough has left Stockton Town to join Northallerton Town on a permanent basis.
Known by the fans as ‘Munch’, Risbrough made 177 appearances in two spells at the Anchors.
The 27-year-old started in Stockton Town’s under-18s and played in the Wearside League before going on to play for Guisborough Town, Spennymoor Town and Ytterhogdals IK in Sweden among others.
He returned to Stockton in December 2017 following a departure from Whitby Town and played a part in the Anchors run to the 2018 FA Vase Final.
He made his Northallerton debut on Wednesday evening- playing the full 90 minutes in a 2-1 win at Whickham.
We would like to thank Munch for his time at the club and wish him the best for future.
