Stockton Town have been drawn to play away at either Easington Colliery or Sunderland AFC U23s in the Second Round of the Durham Challenge Cup.
The tie is scheduled to be played on the week preceding Saturday 23rd January 2021.
The Anchors enjoyed a run to the Semi-Finals of the 2019/20 competition, including a memorable 2-1 victory away at Step Three opponents South Shields.
Sunderland AFC U23s reached the Final of last year’s competition, with the Black Cats due to play Spennymoor Town before the competition was cancelled due the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Anchors have enjoyed successful meetings against Easington Colliery, defeating The Green Army on penalties in the Wearside League Cup final to complete the quadruple in 2014/15.
Michael Dunwell’s men also completed the double over Colliery on their way to the 2016/17 Northern League Division Two title.
