Stockton Town Football Club can confirm they will face Northern Premier League Premier Division side South Shields in pre-season.
The Anchors will visit the 1st Cloud Arena on Saturday 17th July with kick-off at 3pm – as preparations continue ahead of a historic first season in the Northern Premier League East Division.
Stockton have faced South Shields twice in their history, the first meeting being a Durham Challenge Cup tie at the 1st Cloud Arena in January 2020.
Michael Dunwell’s side came from a goal down to beat the Mariners 2-1 that day, thanks to a late double from captain Adam Nicholson.
The Anchors hosted South Shields during pre-season of the 2020/21 campaign – also coming from behind to defeat the NPL outfit 4-1, through a double from Nathan Mulligan, along with efforts from Tom Portas and Jamie Owens.
