Anchors announce partnership with NETA Training Group

Stockton Town Football Club are proud to announce a new sponsorship deal with NETA Training Group in support of grassroots football.

The engineering training provider, which has a long history of developing home grown talent, will now be cheering from the stands.

The club’s executive officer, Wayne Dennis, said: “We welcome NETA Training Group to the football club for the 2021/22 season. It cannot be expressed how important this support is to our club, and we look forward to a successful partnership for many years to come.”

Stockton Town FC currently plays in the Northern Premier League East Division, and the club also has 30 junior teams, totalling some 344 members.

While the team at NETA may be more familiar with kickstarting future engineering talent, commercial training manager, Sean Johnston, said: “We are really excited to be supporting our local football club. It will be fantastic to see our partnership having a direct impact in our community.”

As well as seeing their hoardings on display around the grounds, and sponsoring an upcoming matchday, NETA will also sponsor first-team defender, Louie Hall.

Described as “calm and composed on the ball”, the 19-year-old from Middlesbrough made the transition to the first team from the club’s under-18 side this summer.

Wayne said: “He has certainly impressed both management and supporters alike with some great performances.”

The sponsorship will now enable Louie to act, train and develop as professionally as possible, with support with kit, equipment and facilities.

NETA’s commercial manager Sean said: “This is about us as a local organisation helping out one of our local grassroots clubs and working together to make a real difference to all those who play for and enjoy the club.”
