Aaron Brown Agrees To Join The Anchors

The versatile Aaron Brown becomes Michael Dunwell’s second summer signing.

Brown, a legend at Newton Aycliffe, joins us from Bishop Auckland, having swept their awards for the 2025/26 season, winning four different accolades.

The veteran is known for his versatility, being able to play across the back four as well as in midfield. He also captained the Two Blues during his time there.

Speaking on his second recruit, Manager Michael Dunwell stated: “We played against him a lot in the East division and he was always tough and hard to play against. He’s good on the ball, does the simple things well and his versatility, looking at the injuries we’ve struggled with, he’s coming in to make his mark on the team, and he will be able to do that in a number of different positions which is always a dream for a manager.

“He’s a captain, a leader, another who will be great in the dressing room as well as on the pitch and that’s what we’re looking for. Everywhere he’s gone he’s been spoken highly of, and I’m sure he’ll be good for us as well.”
