Stockton Town forced a replay with Guiseley in the First Qualifying Round of the Emirates FA Cup.
Tom Coulthard and Frank Nouble scored either side of Harrison Hopper and Jordan Thewlis to give the Anchors another fixture to open their chaotic season.
The result was however dampened by nasty injuries to Jake Petitjean and Layton Watts for Stockton.
Nouble was the first Anchor to test Jack Hall in the Guiseley goal, with a strike from a tight angle forced wide.
A well-worked free-kick routine caught Stockton sleeping, until Josh Baggs was able to stick a crucial foot in front of Jordan Thewlis who had a clear look at goal from close range.
Michael Dunwell’s side were the ones to take the lead in the game when a short corner routine was dinked towards the box, where Tom Coulthard got enough behind his effort to guide it home.
Five minutes after the opener, the visitors were level when Harrison Hopper found space into the box to head home a cross from the right hand side.
In the 37th minute, the game was flipped when Thewlis sneaked his way in-behind the Anchors backline, powering past Nathan Harker to give the Lions the lead.

Elliot Owen had a big chance inside the box for the visitors, but his volley was sent too high.
Stephen Thompson had a good look at goal from the edge of the area, however the winger sliced his effort wide of the mark.
Cameron Wilson came close to a third for Guiseley when his subtle shot from range trickled narrowly wide of Nathan Harker’s goal.
The game was tied up in the 79th minute, when Adam Nicholson nodded a deep corner back across the face of goal, for Frank Nouble to rise up and meet to provide an exciting close to the tie.
Nathan Harker made a crucial stop as the game ticked towards its end, using his leg to deny Jack Tinker on the left hand side of the box.

The tie will now be decided via a replay on Tuesday evening in West Yorkshire, but will learn their possible opponents in Monday’s draw.
