Stockton Town had a tough evening on the road as they were beaten 3-0 at Guiseley.
Cam Wilson scored the only goal of the first half before an early second half goal from Amir Berchil and another from defender Elliot Owen wrapped up the win.
The Anchors came into the game on the back of their first win of the season and Michael Dunwell named an almost identical Starting XI with new signing Callum Bone in to replace the suspended Layton Watts for the only change.
Stockton started the game reasonably well and had a couple of chances through Josh Scott in the opening quarter hour. First he had an acrobatic volley saved, and six minutes later a looping header saved.
Guiseley began to find inroads in the game but Stockton were keeping them at bay. Nathan Harker pushed away a Wilson freekick from just outside the box.
But the Lions found the breakthrough when neat play saw Wilson find a pocket of space on the edge of the box before he steered the ball into the corner beyond Harker.

Stockton made a dreadful start to the second half when Harker’s freekick was picked off by Jack Hall and he sprayed the ball straight up field to Berchil who rounded Harker and tucked home.
The Anchors almost had a goal back nine minutes later when Nicholson’s header was pushed away by Hall but heroic defending denied Nouble on the rebound.
Guiseley had a third when Kyle White got the ball back from a corner and played the ball through to Owen in the box who flicked it past Harker.
Stockton were unlucky not to have at least a goal to show for their efforts. Substitute Paul Rooney had a backpost header into the side netting, and Jaedon Faulkner on his return had a strike which was blocked on the line.
Guiseley had further chances to extend their lead but the chances went begging.
