Stockton Town conclude their Pre-Season programme with the visit of Middlesbrough U21s.
Following two away days at Horden CW and Blyth Spartans, the Anchors make their return to the MAP Group UK Stadium looking to end Pre-Season on a high. Last time out they were beaten 3-0 at Blyth Spartans. Stockton were in the game for much of it, but it slipped away from them after an influx of changes among the two teams.
Michael Dunwell will hope to play a line-up close to what will feature in next week’s opener at Ilkeston Town.
Middlesbrough U21 are facing Stockton Town in a Pre-Season Friendly for the first time. Boro have been playing other local sides in the build-up to their Premier League 2 season.
Mark Tinkler’s side defeated Redcar Athletic in their Pre-Season opener but have since lost 2-1 at Bishop Auckland and 4-1 at Darlington. With the Middlesbrough First Team also in action in a Pre-Season Friendly against Espanyol, it’s likely a mix of U18s may also feature.
