Stockton Town 0-4 Ilkeston Town | 1st November 2025
The game began at firing pace, with both sides showing early intent. Stockton’s Cameron Painter came close to opening the scoring, with his ball flew over the crossbar in the opening minutes.
Ilkeston Town responded quickly, testing the Stockton defence with a sharp effort from the edge of the area.
Kevin Hayes looked lively for Stockton, lofting a ball through to Petitjean who unfortunately found it difficult guiding a header towards the goal. Despite promising chances, the Anchors were unable to find a breakthrough.
Ilkeston made them pay for their missed opportunities with a well-taken goal through Harvey Kirby-Moore, who slotted in from a few yards out following a cross from the right.
The lead was doubled shortly after, Kirby-Moore reaching the end of an optimistic through ball and feeding an effort under Nathan Harker to take firm control of the first-half of the match.

Jamie Bramwell made a good connection with a header from a corner, but it was too easy for goalkeeper Alfie Roberts.
Substitute Stephen Thompson wasted no time getting involved, trying his luck from distance, but his effort drifted just wide of the post.
With the Anchors two goals down, more gloom was added to the afternoon when Adam Nicholson was sent off for a last man challenge.
Not long after, Ilkeston made the most of the extra man and unleashed a quick breakaway which Jordan Stevens comfortably finished.
As the final moments ticked away, Ilkeston town found their fourth and final goal of the day, with Sam Parker firing in from his darting run down the left-wing.
A frustrating game for the Anchors sees the visitors leave with an astounding win.
