The regular season comes to its conclusion on Saturday when Stockton Town welcome Hyde United to the MAP Group UK Stadium.
The Anchors are in need of the points to put themselves into a position for a home Semi-Final in the Play-Offs. They are relying on Guiseley dropping points in their trip to FC United of Manchester.
It was slightly disappointing Easter Weekend for Stockton who took only a solitary point from their two games. On Monday, they suffered their first defeat in nine as they went down 2-0 at Hebburn Town.
Michael Dunwell will welcome back Michael Fowler and Mikey Roberts back to the squad. But Arjun Purewal, who came off with injury at Hebburn, will be missing and is potentially out for the upcoming Play-Off game.
THE OPPOSITION
Hyde United enjoyed a strong start to the campaign and sat top of the pile following the last meeting between the two clubs.
Although that form was unable to be maintained and they have sat on the outside looking in on the Play-Offs for much of the campaign.
The Tigers are perhaps the most ‘mid-table’ side of the division having not dropped lower than 11th and having recorded the most draws with 15.
On the whole, they do not have much to play for on Saturday but the points would secure them a top ten finish.
Former EFL-Striker Jack Redshaw is the man to look out for. The former Morecambe marksman has 19 goals in the campaign.
Brad Holmes, a loanee from Marine, has also had a sharp eye for goal with five during his spell with the club.
HEAD-TO-HEAD
The two clubs met for the first time in August’s reverse fixture.

THE OPPOSITION VIEW
Looking ahead to the game, Hyde United manager Nick Spooner said:
“It won’t be an easy game., Stockton will be fighting for their lives; they will want to come third and get that home Semi-Final in the Play-Offs.
“They’ve had an upset result (2-0 defeat at Hebburn Town) and they’ll be looking to put it right.”
“On the road, we’ve had some good performances, so hopefully we can again.”
PRE-MATCH QUOTES
Michael Dunwell looked ahead in his programme notes, by saying:
“Hyde did beat us early in the season, but we are a different team from what we were then — as are they. The roles have been reversed, with us being in the Play-Offs now. I think they were top of the league last time we met. That just shows how difficult this league is. Teams can go on a run and start the season really well, but they have a blip, and then they can’t get back.
“It will be another tough game, but we have prepared well for it.”
