Stockton Town Football Club can confirm we have received the following information regarding the 2021/22 Emirates FA Cup and Buildbase FA Trophy.
The Anchors are one of 136 Step Four clubs that will enter the FA Cup at the Preliminary Round, with the tie to be played on Saturday 21st August 2021.
The Football Association have also confirmed that ties which are level after 90 minutes will be replayed in the FA Cup up until the Fourth Round Proper.
Michael Dunwell’s men will take part in the FA Trophy for the first time ever, after the club were promoted to the Northern Premier League as part of the Football Association’s restructure of Non-League football.
The Anchors’ best ever run in the FA Cup came in the 2019/20 campaign, losing out narrowly to National League North side Guiseley AFC in the Second Qualifying Round.
Stockton will enter the FA Trophy at the First Qualifying Round, with the tie to be played on Saturday 25th September 2021 – with no replays in any round in the FA Trophy.
The draws for the first two rounds of the FA Cup and FA Trophy will take place on Friday 9th July 2021.
Stockton Town have also been entered in the FA Youth Cup for the upcoming campaign. The Young Anchors will enter the competition at the Preliminary Round, with the tie to be played on Monday 30th August.
