Stockton Town U18 cruised through to the First Qualifying Round of the FA Youth Cup with an emphatic 11-0 win over Consett.
The Young Anchors were ahead in the opening ten minutes when Dan Dryden netted from the penalty spot.
Inside the quarter hour mark they doubled their lead when Tom Birtles ran through and finished past the goalkeeper.
They had three before twenty minutes when Birtles completed a quickfire brace from 20-yards.
Stockton remain relentless and had four in the 25th minute when Dryden evaded a tackle before he finished.
Eight minutes later, Dryden completed his hattrick to make it five.
There were still nine minutes remaining in the first half when Luke Brumpton hit Consett for six with a thumping header at the back-post.
Stockton had seventh when Joe Kennedy followed in to score after the goalkeeper had made an initial save.
A first half mauling was completed when Jack Spears cut inside from the left and fired into the top corner.
The scoring calmed down in the second and it took until the 72nd minute for a ninth to be scored when Kennedy completed his brace with a similar goal to his first.
Double figures were reached in the final ten minutes when Brumpton bundled home his brace.
The scoring ended with four minutes to go when Tom Miller converted following a cutback from the byline.
“There were loads of positives, with the obvious one being that we are through to the next round,” U18 Manager Paddy Davis said.
“I think if anything it shows how much strength we have in the whole squad. There were a few good players who didn’t get on tonight or didn’t feature in the squad.
“The whole squad will be needed throughout the season.”
The draw for the First Qualifying Round is anticipated to be this coming Friday.
The U18s begin their JPL Cup campaign on Saturday when they host Harrogate Town.
