Stan’s the man!

Stockton Town were given a helping hand when one supporter instigated the installation of new hand rails in the main stand.

Anchors fan, Stan Frost, noticed his fellow supporter’s struggling to make their way into the new 200-seated stand which was installed last spring.

Frost suggested the idea and contributed half the cost towards installing the new railings which were put in with help of defender Dale Mulligan.

Frost said: “The stand is a first-class stand and most the people that sit in it are probably the strongest Stockton supporters of the lot. Some of them were finding the steps a challenge so I thought some needed to be done there.

“I thought some really strong banisters for people to get up and down would do it.”

It is another innovation that goes hand in hand with Stockton Town’s ambition to grow as a club.

Proving that is able to make the match day experience much more accessible for all supporter’s.

Stan is keen to help keep the club on the up, “What I think about is Hartlepool have a club and others, why haven’t Stockton been up there? Let’s get behind them.”

He added: “Most the people that sit in that stand around me, I am a season ticket holder, they are all keen to get Stockton moving.”

Stockton Town would like to thank Stan Frost for his tremendous generosity in helping his fellow supporter’s have a more comfortable match day experience.
