Stockton Town Football Club are pleased to welcome high-street giants, Specsavers Stockton-on-Tees to our team of incredible sponsors.
The store is also proud to be the shirt sponsor of our boys’ Under-9s team.
Specsavers are the place to visit for all by sight and hearing needs – providing affordable, accessible, and high-quality optical and audiology care.
As part of the sponsorship, Specsavers Stockton-on-Tees, based in Wellington Square in Stockton Town centre, is the shirt sponsor of the
club’s boys’ Under-9s team, supporting the young players through their training and matches throughout the season.
The sponsorship of the wider club will help support Stockton Town across its grassroots and first-team setup, helping to provide training equipment such as balls, bibs and cones for its 48 junior teams, as well as supporting the first team.
Specsavers Stockton-on-Tees’ sponsorship will run for two seasons, covering the 2026/27 and 2027/28 seasons.
Phil Bird, retail director of Specsavers Stockton, says: “We’re delighted to kick off our sponsorship of Stockton Town Football Club and to support both the club as a whole and its boys’ Under-9s team.
“Stockton Town plays an important role in bringing people together and providing opportunities for local young players to enjoy the sport and develop their skills.
“It’s also fantastic to be able to support the Under-9s as their shirt sponsor. We hope our support can help the young players feel match-ready and confident as they kickstart their journey into the sport.
“Supporting the community we serve is really important to us at Specsavers Stockton-on-Tees, and we look forward to supporting more initiatives across the local area.”
Anthony Antoniou, Commercial Director at Stockton Town FC, says: “We’re really grateful for Specsavers’ support. As a community-run, not-for-profit club, sponsorship like this makes a real difference.
“It helps us provide equipment across our 48 junior teams and supports the club as a whole, from grassroots right through to the first team. The U9s are made up with their new kit, and we’re looking forward to the next two seasons together.”
The sponsorship forms part of Specsavers Stockton’s ongoing commitment to supporting local organisations and initiatives that bring people together and make a positive impact within the community.
