Stockton Town Football Club are delighted to announce that an agreement has been reached with Middlesbrough Women FC, who will play their home games at the MAP Group UK Stadium for the 2022/23 season.
Stockton Town chairman Martin Hillerby said: “We are delighted to be able to bring Middlesbrough Women Football Club to play their home fixtures at the MAP Group UK Stadium from next season.
“Having met with them over a number of months it is obvious they share the same ambitions as Stockton Town and we hope they enjoy playing here and are successful in their aims.
“This will in no way affect our ambitions to continue the development of Stockton Town’s girls and ladies teams and we hope that the link will indeed strengthen this, while at the same time giving the community of Stockton further opportunities to engage in Ladies football.”
Ben Fisher, Middlesbrough Women FC chairman, said: “We are delighted to be making the move to the MAP Group UK Stadium.
“We have held discussions over the past few months and it was evident that both clubs shared aspirations and we cannot wait to make the move to the MAP Group UK Stadium for the 2022/23 season.
“The structure and facilities at the ground made the decision easy. Stockton Town FC have a fantastic fan base and we are hoping that they can come along and cheer on our team.”
