Stockton Town FC v Horden CW FC
Hordon CW provided Stockton with their toughest test of the Season so far in a game closer than the 4 1 scoreline suggests. Stockton went in front on 10 minutes when Adam Nicholson stab home at the back post after a left wing corner. It was all Stockton and Stav Roberts rattled the crossbar shortly afterwards. Hordon Centre Forward Peter Crawford was causing problems and it was no surprise when the same player glanced a header into the far corner on 41 minutes, to leave it 1 1 at half time. Stockton started the second half brightly but it was Hordon who missed the next chance when Goalkeeper Michael Arthur made a fantastic save at Peter Crawfords feet to keep the scores level. This was Hordons last real chance and it was no surprise when Adam Nicholson got his second of the game with a fine header from a James Ward free kick. Stockton's third came from a fine individual effort from the returning Max Craggs who ran fully 50 yards with the ball before finding the far corner. Stockton then completed the scoring close to the final whistle when a fine passing move was finished at the far post by Chris Stockton who claimed his 8th League goal of the Season in 3 games.
