Stockton continued their fine form with an emphatic cup win away at Seaton Carew. The Wearside League Cup fixture saw Stockton run out 12 0 winners with Seaton having no answer to Stockton’s attacking play. Stockton went into half time leading 2 0 with goals from Matty Garbutt and Kallum Hannah. The second half saw Stockton up the tempo and the goals flowed with Kallum Hannah and Adam Nicholson completing hat tricks. Matty Garbutt grabbed his second from distance and there were further long range efforts from Chris Stockton and Joe Hinchley. Jimmy Ward curled a superb free kick into the top corner from 25 yards which left Tony Johnson to finish the scoring by grabbing the Club’s 100th goal of the season near the end. A fantastic performance and attitude by the players in difficult conditions, well done.
