A late wonder-goal from Michael Fowler secured the Anchors all three points in a tense encounter with Blyth Spartans.
Substitute Fowler struck a lovely half-volley over the goalkeeper in the 84th minute to extend Stockton’s winning run to three games.
Michael Dunwell named an entirely unchanged lineup from the one that beat Workington 3-1 on Saturday.
After a spell of rain had dampened the pitch, Stockton quickly looked to find a way to settle into the conditions.
Josh Scott provided the Anchors a half-chance when he won the ball from the foot of the goalkeeper at a tight angle, but his prod across goal was only met by a green and white shirt.
Scott was substituted not long later after feeling a tightness in his hamstring.
Dean Briggs had a chance for the hosts inside the box but he dragged a strike wide of the target.
Half-time: Blyth Spartans 0-0 Stockton Town
Blyth forward JJ Hooper nearly gifted a goal to Michael Fowler with a terrible pass back to his goalkeeper, but Oliver Basey heroically cleared the ball before Fowler could control.
Dean Briggs once again found space inside the Anchors box, and saw his effort suffer to the same result as his earlier opportunity.
The hosts grew into the game in the second half, and a corner from the Spartans left hand side was flicked on by JJ Hooper, but it luckily travelled wide of Nathan Harker’s goal.
Hooper had another wonderful chance to provide his side the lead when he met a cross from the right-wing, but the ball bounced on the line of the goal before being met by the quick reactions of Harker.
Adam Nicholson had a great opportunity for the Anchors after goalkeeper Basey completely missed a floating corner, but the captain at the back post could only send a pressured attempt wide.
As the clock ticked on, up stepped Michael Fowler who collected the ball 25 yards out of goal, and fired a half-volley over the goalkeeper which dipped perfectly to give Stockton an incredibly late lead.
Four minutes into three minutes added time, the Spartans found a way through the middle, but a combination of Tom Coulthard and Adam Nicholson superbly meet the forward as he eyes up a strike at goal.
