GAME REPORT
Stockton completed their pre season fixtures with a resounding 3 0 victory away at Northern League Billingham Town. Billingham had the first chance when Craig Lines fired over the top from 20 yards but it was Stockton that grabbed the lead when a fine one two between Kallum Hannah and Tony Johnson saw Johnson free in the box and he calmly curled the ball home from 15 yards. Half time saw a number of substitutions but Stockton were no less fluent and continued to create chance after chance and it was Ben Priestly who found the back of the net next after great work from Adam Nicholson who not only won the ball but found Priestly on the right and his shot cannoned in off the post. Then in the final minute another fine Stockton move saw Chris Dunwell's fine effort parried away by Billingham's keeper only for Ben Priestley to react quickest to fire in Stockton's third. The real action gets under way for us a week on Wednesday 5th August with a home League fixture against Richmond Town, kick off is 6 30pm and we would welcome your support on what will hopefully be a successful season for us all.
