Stockton Town’ dreams of Wembley are over this season after they lost 3-1 at home to Shildon in the Buildbase FA Vase.
Dean Thexton and Kurt Matthews put the visitors two goals up in the first-half, while Nathan Mulligan’s terrific strike gave the hosts hope going into the final stages of the game.
Thexton struck again late on to secure Shildon’s passage into the next round of the competition.
