Stockton Town Ladies return to the MAP Group UK Stadium on Sunday when they host Hartlepool Pools Youth- 2pm Kick-Off.
The reverse fixture back in September saw the Anchoresses produce a commanding 7-1 victory, thanks to the goals of Milly McNamee, Kaitlyn Bell, a brace from Talia Korucu and a superb hattrick from Emma Farrow.
A repeat of that performance will be a tough ask as this encounter presents a fresh challenge. Pools Youth have strengthened their squad with a number of signings from higher divisions which will add an extra layer of competitiveness to the match.
Stockton have also added to their squad this week. Defender Gabbi Welford has arrived from Redcar Athletic, and Olivia Banks has signed to make her first step into Ladies Football.
“It’s great to get Gabbi on board. She’s a strong, energetic defender who will certainly add quality and depth to our defensive ranks,” Manager Chris Murphy said.
On Banks, Murphy said: “Liv (Banks) is a quick forward, has great technical skill and bags of energy.”
Fans are encouraged to come down and back the Anchoresses on Sunday afternoon. The game will be Free Entry.
