Our Ladies team enjoyed a huge victory in their first game of 2026 on Sunday afternoon, beating Hartlepool United 7-2 away from home.

Chris Murphy’s side took an early lead, when Kaitlyn Bell (JCM Cable Installations) poked home an effort inside the box.

Despite a productive effort following the opening goal, by the 32nd minute, Stockton found themselves behind after two goals in a minute from Caitlyn Bates and Poppy Todd.

64 minutes in, the Anchors found a deserved equaliser when Talia Korucu and Anna Murphy (PK Driving Tuition) linked up, with the latter finishing to even the scores.

Just three minutes after, Korucu was crucially involved again, feeding a ball into midfielder Chloe McKinnell (Ward Hadaway) who slotted home an important third for Stockton.

Nine minutes from time, the Anchors’ fitness levels shone through, and they began to run away with the game. Debutant Tiana Hudson (The Blackcard Collective) finding her way onto the scoresheet to double the advantage.

Grace Campbell (A. Campbell Plumbing & Heating) then followed with a lovely finish five minutes from time.

After a handful of assists, Talia Korucu (Durham Lifting) inevitably got her deserved goal, adding a sixth for Stockton after a relentless close to the game.

But it didn’t stop there, Grace Campbell found her second goal of the game, more than securing all three points for Stockton to take home, and give Chris Murphy’s side a huge lift in the standings.

Stockton are back at the MAP Group UK Stadium next week, when they welcome the tough challenge of Birtley Town for a 2pm kick-off on Sunday.
